Our First Appreciation Day

The first Appreciation Day was a super success.  A warm, sunny day greeted 134 fourth grade students who were eager to learn about and experience the Little Plover River first hand.  Roosevelt School teacher Faye Miller was very enthusiastic in her assessment of the event: “Students absolutely loved the afternoon! On the walk back to school, they constantly talked about how much fun they had and all they learned. This was definitely a positive educational experience and I hope it will be repeated next year.”
