Since the historic dry up of sections of the Little Plover River in 2005, and 2006-2009, the Friends Little Plover River have been striving to increase awareness and to educate people about binomo coupon code the seriousness of water and groundwater quantity issues in the watershed of the Little Plover River and Portage County.

The Little Plover River is our "Canary in the Mine" warning.  This river is under extreme stress and we are faced with the harsh reality that this river is endangered as are other Wisconsin water resources that rely on the groundwater that gives them life.

We in Wisconsin have a rich water heritage and the question for us today is whether we will leave future generations, our "Leaders of Tomorrow" with or without the water resources http://www.binomo-co.in/code we all enjoy today.  We can live without oil . . . we cannot live without WATER!

Historically, the Little Plover River has never gone dry, even in past drought periods of much greater magnitude . . . until 2005 when sections of the river dried up.  So what has changed to make this happen?

The discussion began in 2006 with the formation of the Little Plover River Work Group consisting of a wide range of interested parties.  And the discussion continues.

Friends of the Little Plover River supports all thoughtful, factual and temperate dialogue in search of a way forward.

Our Mission

The Mission of the Friends of the Little Plover River is to restore and maintain the healthy flow of the Little Plover River and its associated shore lands by promoting wise management of the ground water and land resources in the Little Plover River and  watershed and beyond through education and conservation.

Our Purpose

It is the intent of the Friends of the Little Plover River to gather and make available as much scientific and archival information on the Little Plover River as possible and place it on this website to allow everyone easy access to relevant information and data.  This is a continuing process and we welcome additional information and photos for review.
